New building plans and clinic toys
Forth Valley Vets is currently in planning phase for a new purpose-built hospital, to be constructed on 73 acres of land purchased on Forth Road. The new building will include:

What we are seeking from a person in this role:
A veterinary degree, acknowledged within Australia and eligible for registration with the Tasmania Veterinary Board. If you are seeking business sponsorship support a minimum of 2 years experience is required to be eligible for a work visa

Work Conditions:
Full-time role over an 8 or 9 day fortnight is preferable. However part-time hours is also an option by mutual discussion.
A choice to be part of our Tasmania Wildlife Hospital veterinarian rotation as part of the role, with clinical hands-on wildlife work.
Participation in a/h’s roster (1-in-5). Our longer term vision includes the development of a 24/7 emergency service which will eliminate an afterhours roster for this role.
Potential for Saturday morning shifts as a fill-in required but only by mutual agreement.
