Some dogs have ‘em, some dogs don’t!

These “big toes” of the doggie world can hide amongst the fur on the back legs and grow to unruly and sometimes painful lengths! 

Some of these toes are well attached with bone to the rest of the leg while others can simply dangle from a small skin attachment. They commonly catch on objects and become damaged or ripped out.

In many cases, surgical removal of them while your pooch in under anaesthesia for desexing will be recommended to prevent these problems.
